Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please call your insurance provider before your appointment and ask them the following questions:

-What kind of mental health benefits do I have

-Do I have a deductible? If so has the deductible been met?

-Do I have a copay? If so what is my copay?

-How many sessions per year does my plan cover?

Following your first session being billed to your insurance provider, your therapist will communicate with you what your financial responsibility is.

  • We Do! All of our therapists take Aetna (including the State Health Plan), BCBS (except for some local plans), CBHA, Cigna, Medcost, and United.

  • We follow the local government’s lead in terms of closing. If the government is closed due to snow or inclement weather, we will be as well. However, we open at our regular time if the government opens one or two hours late. If you don’t feel that it’s safe to come into the office on a day with inclement weather, please call or email us to let us know and you will not be charged. We never want you to compromise your safety.

  • Our office is closed for the following holidays: New Year’s Day; Memorial Day; July 4th; Labor Day; Thanksgiving and the day after; Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. We remain open on all other federal holidays but that is also determined based on the individual therapist’s schedule.
